Bo Ne Houston: A Taste of Vietnamese Breakfast & Brunch Bliss

It has been a couple years since I came back here. I introduced my husband to Bo Ne today and he absolutely loves it. Reminds him of “banh mi.” Of course it’s super similar, almost has all the ingredients to do so. I told him this is like a popular breakfast that my family and I enjoy. He likes it and I’m glad. The visit today, I got the Bo ne combo and it came with two runny eggs, plenty of tender beef, sausage and Chinese sausage with meatball served separately. Bursting full of flavors! I didn’t need to add salt or any soy sauce like I usually do. Their butter and pate are delicious as well! I loved every bite. It helped that their bread is also very fresh! My husband ordered the Bo Trum Men and that is basically beef covered with mushrooms. I never had this order before so I was excited to steal a couple bites from him (hehe). Oh man, it was super flavorful and delicious. I might order this next time I come back haha.

Ah, this place ROCKED! 4 of us visited from Dallas. The other couple are Vietnamese and they were so happy to be in Houston to eat the great Viet food down there. One of the things that as a non-Viet that I enjoy the most is Vietnamese breakfast. I found this place via Google Reviews and this was our breakfast the day before we all headed back. Two of us ordered their standard Viet breakfast with steak. To be honest, the steak wasn't all that great. I should've ordered the ribeye. But everything else was pretty amazing. They make their own banh on premise, so it was nice and fresh. They gave a generous portion of pate, which my wife stole most of it and the bread from me. Meaning, she ordered something that she didn't like as much as mine. The sausage, whatever it was, complimented the egg, bread, and pate quite nicely. Overall, the experience was great. Nice and clean, good, friendly service. Would return again the next time we're in the area.

Very delicious food. Easy to have a low carb meal with the original bo ne. Very cozy atmosphere. Only the banh bao was not too my liking, pre-made frozen buns. The egg rolls were also tasty.

I was not hip to this place nor the popular dishes here until some family from H town mentioned Bo Ne. We ordered the combination, Houston and the small Bo Ne. They give you a lot of food per dish. A small green salad, sausages or steak, and 2 sunny side up eggs. The bread here is really fresh and airy on the inside. They give you plenty of bread per entree. I recommend adding the pate, butter, runny egg and meat onto each slide of bread to make yourself a nice sandwich. Flavors here are on point. I didn't need any more salt or soy sauce for the dishes. The sausages and steak meats were seasoned perfectly. Service here is really great. I ordered and got my food in under 10 minutes even on a busy Saturday. They feature vegetarian dishes and an extensive menu with plenty of traditional Vietnamese entrees as well. I really enjoyed my experience here. Prices are reasonable and service is on point. Parking is really easy to find as they have a wide open lot. I'll definitely be back to try their banh mi.

I just moved to HTX about a month ago. This is my favorite restaurant. Also this is my second time visiting. The Bo Ne Houston is the first thing you should try. This dish is my absolute favorite. Staff is extremely courteous and attentive. This order will start off with a delicious salad. The dressing is similar to a vinaigrette I really enjoy it! Following, you will be presented with a delicious and very fluffy Banh Mi (bread) alongside a small portion of butter and pâté. Lastly, the main dish will come out sizzling beef and perfectly cooked sunny side up eggs. I love how simplistic this dish is and everything that you get. This entire experience will cost you just under $16 before tip. I will be back again soon hopefully with more friends! Keep up the great work and amazing food. You are doing a phenomenal job!

Been here to the location quite a few times. Service is always good and fast. We always come in just right after the lunch rush so there’s always plenty of seating available. Love the murals on the wall, very creative! I’ve always ordered the Bo Ne Houston (the Original) and it’s always satisfying. Th portion is just right and the steak is tender and flavorful. I’ve had the Bo Steak before and is just as delicious, such a big chunk of steak that’s perfectly sizzled. Our order’s normally come with salad and baguettes with pate which we enjoy as well. This time we ordered the fresh shrimp spring rolls, which didn’t make the photos cause they were so good we just gobbled them up. They were freshly made, we can tell from the way the noodles consistency and the sauce it came with, chef’s kiss! Will definitely keep coming back for the Bo Ne and to try other dishes.

I purchased "Bo Ne". It steak, 2 egg sizzling on iron pan. It little salty, but add the combination of bread and side salad reduce the salty flavor. I been to other steakhouse it more salty in my opinion. I also got the Vietnamese coffee. The price are 23 buck. It seem high to most people but the combo you get is a fair price in my opinion. The bread is freshly made at the restaurant. It a family business.

I just came to try this place today and and finally have the chance and discovered their other yummy foods.. I’ve gotten myself 2 lbs of spicy garlic butter crawfish!! (Very fresh and flavorful) The Bo Ne was excellent too as well and that my boyfriend ate. Will come back for more soon and refer to my family!
